"Two people, two cameras, four eyes, one love.
We needed it! Paris was grey and life in the city was killing us day after day… Maud quit her job in April and a few weeks later we landed in Montreal with our cameras, ready to make the dream come true. We found Joe, a rusty van, the third character in our adventure. We drove across America; from Quebec to Los Angeles. New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah. Three breakdowns, twenty thousand kilometers, four hundred cans of beer and only five real showers. With the same cameras we both took pictures every day, showing our intimate life on the road for twelve weeks.
Our days on the road were punctuated by the sun and our showers in the rivers. Sometimes only two in the middle of nowhere, sometimes with peopel we met along the way.
No staging, no set, we just captured our life and our love, accross the mountains, the desert, the big cities… From East to West, life without limits or barriers. Three months of pure freedom.
A journey accoss the US throught two lovers’ eyes.
